Length: 45,000 words

Blurb

Nerdy, introverted genius lepidopterist, Lawson Gale, is an expert on butterflies. He finds himself in a small town in Tasmania on a quest from an old professor to find an elusive species that may or may not even exist.

Local Parks and Wildlife officer, Jack Brighton, is an ordinary guy who loves his life in the sleepy town of Scottsdale. Along with his Border collie dog, Rosemary, his job, and good friends, he has enough to keep from being lonely.

But then he meets Lawson, and he knows he's met someone special. There's more to catching butterflies, Jack realises. Sometimes the most elusive creatures wear bowties, and sometimes they can't be caught at all.

Lawson soon learns there are butterflies he can't learn about it in books. They exist only in a touch, in a kiss, in a smile. He just has to let go first, so these butterflies can fly.

Imago is the story of finding love, bowties, and butterflies.

Carra's Review

N.R. Walker has done it again...she's written another sweet, wonderful story that's become one of my "happy sigh" books.

Can I tell you just how much I loved Lawson?  I loved Jack too, but oh my goodness...Lawson was just so sweet and nerdy (I have a huge weakness for cute, super-smart science guys), yet he also knows how to go after what he wants.  Jack is laid back, strong and protective, but Lawson just totally makes him melt.  I had a silly grin on my face through much of this book-all because of Lawson.

Both men are dedicated to their work, and I got a kick out of how animated Lawson became when it came to anything with butterflies.  The two of them just click right from the beginning, and even though the majority of the events of this story take place over about a week's time nothing between them ever feels rushed.

The story progresses at a very comfortable pace, and I read it in a single sitting because I truly could not tear myself away from the pages.  I was thrilled to find out there will be another book after this, as I really did not want to leave Jack and Lawson behind.  The two of them together are beyond a perfect fit, and when it comes to the physical aspect, they go from sweet to hot to incredibly sensual--enough have you fanning yourself repeatedly.

Imago has easily found its way onto my Top Recommendations list, and it was a magnificent 5-star read.  This is a must-have for any M/M romance fan, I don't think its possible for me to recommend this book highly enough!  Imago is meant for readers 18+ for adult language (oh yes, Lawson can be naughty too) and M/M sexual content.

Author Bio

N.R. Walker is an Australian author, who loves her genre of gay romance. She loves writing and spends far too much time doing it, but wouldn't have it any other way.

She is many things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who she gives them life with words.

She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things...but likes it even more when they fall in love. She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.

She's been writing ever since...
